I learned the hard way.
I have done extensive research on guitars, basses, amps, effects, speakers,
cabinets, guitar cases, etc. to determine value while helping other instrument
owners.. I can help level the playing field by helping you find out what
something is worth. I have price guides, old catalogs, serial number
lists, etc. and the internet.
I traded a 59 Les Paul Jr. for
a 1981 Les Paul Artist in 1992. The Artist was priced $1,200.
I found out too late the Junior was worth $3,000 - $4,000. I had
no idea it was worth that much at the time of the trade. - Music
Store Transaction - (FYI - In 2016 it is worth $6,000 - $8,000)
I sold a 1954 Les Paul Custom
'72 Reissue Limited Edition for $400 in 1984 (before the internet).
At the time it was worth closer to $2,000 but I did not know that. - Private
Sale - (in 2016 it is worth $6,000 - $8,000).
A friend sold a late 60's Marshall
Super Lead amp head for $800. It was worth $4,000 to $5,000.
- Private Sale
People sell $5,000 guitars
for $500 every day. Don't let that happen to you.
Please contact me prior to
