I have spent a lot tof time reasearching this guitar, and still cannot put a definate description of it regarding where made, pick ups, body wood, etc. I have tried to be as accurate as possible.

1987 ( I think) in Japan (I think), Neck Plate Says Fort Worth Texas, USA
22 frets
1 volume, 1 mid booster, 1 tone, 3 individual toggle switches for pickups
HSS
Active electronics (passive pickups though I think)
Basswood body, maple neck, rosewood fret board
This guitar looks black until the light hits it. Purple/ Purple Metal Flake.

I consider this a project guitar. It is plug and play, but the electronics should be looked at for bad solder or loose wiring. The body is in great shape. Neck has been repaired where fret board separated from neck close to nut to 3rd or 4th fret. Gorilla glue was used, with strong clamps, see foam in pictures near the bottom of this page. Otherwise good, minimal fret ware. Electronics are fine.

This is a fair price for this guitar. Just the parts, tuners, trem, pick ups are worth the price.
